Who is responsible

SourceFromTurkey is an independent sourcing practice based in Türkiye (“we”). For anything about your personal data, including the requests listed below, write to us through the contact form and mention “personal data” in the message.

What we collect

• Sourcing requests: name, work email, company, phone or WhatsApp number, and the product details you send.
• Emails and messages you send us.
• Technical data: anonymous, cookie-free visit statistics collected by Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Why and on what legal basis

• To answer your request and prepare a quote: steps taken at your request before a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c, GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
• To carry out our contract with you, including sharing your product specification with manufacturers.
• To keep accounting records required by Turkish law.

Who we share it with

• Manufacturers we contact for your request. We share the product details and, once you choose a supplier, your company contact details.
• Service providers: Web3Forms (form delivery), our email provider and Cloudflare (hosting). Some are outside Türkiye; transfers follow KVKK art. 9 and GDPR chapter V.

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted after 24 months. Records of orders are kept for as long as Turkish tax and commercial law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use or ask for a copy, under KVKK article 11 and GDPR articles 15–22, through the contact form. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or your local data protection authority in the EU.
